My vision is to take in-person Speed Networking to a new level that includes the use of Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, Ustream, and Community Blogging!
I have personally found that in-person networking has helpd me to grow my own business and I typically attend 6 or more in-person meetings a month. Being in front of people lets them get to know me and begins to build some trust. Nothing can replace shaking a persons hand, looking them in the eye and interacting in-person.
However, I do love using Social Media to share my message and to educate my network. But, I know I can't just sit at my computer and make deep meaningful connections via Facebook, as nice as that would be. In my experience, a good blend of both works VERY well.

Please be prepared to Tweet, Blog, and upload to
Facebook while at the event if you are Savvy Social Marketeer. Bring your phones, cameras, flips, other recording devices! If you do not have a video camera or if you don't tweet, that's ok, too.But, you should be prepared that you or your business will be tagged when you attend this event. (You can always remove the tag if you don't like it.) That's kind of the point, though! Let's take our in-person networking to the NEXT level - to the Social Marketing level!
